This book hooked me from the moment I picked up the ARC. It's far outside of my normal tastes, but the poetry format kept me interested and engaged. It made the characters come alive, and I understood them better than I would have with traditional prose. I haven't read Hopkins' YA titles, so I can't compare them, but the unique format made me enjoy this a great deal, when the actual plot is the kind of story I usually put down halfway and never finish. It was a unique way to tell a standard story, and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys nontraditional, experimental styles.

Robb did you get the advanced reading copy of this at your store too. I saw it laying on the breakroom table this week at denver west.

Kimberly [Come Hither Books] Yep, I picked it up on a break and was completely sucked in. I haven't read her teen stuff, but I'm enjoying this so far. Definitely something different.
