I think this book is really good. It's about this boy named Skiff Beaman, also known as Little Skiff. When he comes back from his last day of school, he finds out that his dad's boat the Mary Rose has sunken at his dock. When he gets the Mary Rose back to the surface he discovers traps that the engine doesn't work and it needs to buy new one. His mom died and his dad won't do anything but sit on the couch. He needs to earn thousands of dollars before summer ends. Lobster traps won't work so he goes out to sea to try to catch a bluefin tuna and save his boat.
I think this book is a little boring in the beginning then it gets a lot better. This book was really entertaining. I wanted to keep reading it. This book also had some suspense at the end of the book. The ending was really great and I would recommend this book to someone who wants to read a good entertaining book.
