This had the potential to be a really good book. The topics it covered are relevant today to the violence, drug cartels, illegal human smuggling and kinappings going on in Mexico. However the author's writing was very simplistic and boring and there were soooo many grammatical errors that it was very distracting. This was a free Kindle book so I only hope someone edits it before it goes into print.

Michael Weems Hi all,

I'm Michael, the guy who wrote Border Crossings. Just wanted to say 1) Thank you for reading, and 2), sorry for typos. I'm uploading a newer version shortly hopefully with less typos. I also wrote The Ghosts of Varner Creek. Varner Creek was traditional with agent and publisher, so doesn't have typos. I just put Border Crossings up myself unedited. I had no idea it'd get over 30,000 reads, so now I'm frantically trying to go back and fix typos and errors. Sorry about that. Thanks again.
