I was so very impressed with the first half of this book. Reminded me of Caleb Carr and he is one of my favorite. But then it got strange - it took a left turn when I was still idling straight. Then there was a right and a U-turn and holy cow, totally lost. Somewhere Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged came to mind, but even the story of the 'new world order' got lost ... and quick.

The end was anti-climactic. I was saddened.

And, truly, The Somnambulist had such a secondary role in the book, why was it named for this character?

As I had to watch The Matrix twice to even vaguely understand it, maybe I have to read this again? Or have someone explain it to me? I really must have missed a turn.
