Fun. Fun. Fun.

Dear Ms. Langlais,
YOU ROCK! Please, please write more in this universe.
Sincerely,
New Fangirl.

Miranda, bad-ass bunny spy, is secretly guarding Chase, the grumpy ol' bear who just happens to firmly believe that woodland creatures should stick with their own and not mess with big bad predators.

Oh. There are sooo many things that could have gone wrong with this story. Overly perky heroine. Stick in the mud hero. Evil mad scientists (is there any other kind?). Were Crocs (and giraffes?!). Kidnapping. Evil experiments.

Kudos again for Ms. Langlais for bringing it all together and making it work. If I had a quibble, it was to some mild pacing issues and word choice. Personally I find 'pubes' to be crass and way too close to pubescent to be anything but jarring. But those are really minor quibbles because the overall story was so entertaining.

BTW: "I prefer my honey from the source, but thanks." BEST LINE EVER!! You just have to trust me on that one. So go read it!

PS. At around 41K word count according to ARe, the $2.99 price was right on the money and totally worth it.
