Reminiscent of Time Traveler's Wife & completely different at the same time. I was hoping for more but stuck through the end. About 3/4 through things got very exciting, and it ended quite suddenly, and without much of a resolution. Wondering if there will be a sequel. Different kind of writing then everything else I've read of Ann's (I've now read every single on of her books) and I do appreciate the research she had to do for certain aspects of this book. A great idea, that may not have been executed fully. I wanted to care for these characters more... separately and together and I just didn't get to that point.
