Season for Temptation is the debut historical romance by Theresa Romain. It is a sweet historical tale, with whimsical characters that is written in a light and humorous manner . The heroine Julia is a spunky young miss who has the misfortune of being immediately attracted to the James the man her sister Louisa is engaged to marry. Louisa is more studious in nature, and though she has agreed to marry James she has a few doubts, as to whether she wants the life that comes with a titled match. James is just a fellow trying to do his duty by his family, and things are going as planned until he meets Julia. The book had me laughing out loud at times, as there are some very unique conversations that take place throughout.
