Many fewer rolling-on-the-couch/chair/floor moments in this one than I had in Me Talk Pretty One Day, but chapters like Six or Eight Black Men, and Nuit of the Living Dead reminded me that David Sedaris is one of the funniest people out there.

This book covers his awkward youth, attempts at becoming a hippie, and some of his many colorful siblings. He can be dry, witty, brutally honest and poignant, and spares no one in his tell-it-as-crazy-as-it-looks style. Sweet, light, fun. :)
