I hate to give this two stars, because there was actually some very good writing and entirely wonderful short stories in this book.

But there was one - 'Are Ya Havin' Fun' by Chad Nevett - that was so crude and pretentious that it significantly reduced the quality of this book. It's really not even that his story was rude, it was that it was so utterly condescending to young people, not to mention narrow-minded. Perhaps it was an attempt at irony, in which case it may have been clever, but if it was supposed to be ironic, that irony did not read well and I missed it.

Mostly I am giving this rating to the editor for choosing to include that one piece of utter rubbish.
