Wow...I have been waiting for what seems like forever for Jaden and Lyra's story...It did not disappoint...
My only complaint is all the time between books. I had forgotten about the bloodlines; the lowbloods and highbloods.
Jaden is so damn strong willed, it's definitely one of his redeeming qualities...he places himself in danger for a werewolf knowing full well that nothing can come of it because a relationship between a vampire and werewolf is strictly forbidden, by both sides.
Lyra is not looking for a mate much less one with a Cait Sith...she's been working her whole life for a chance to become the next alpha of her pack, knowing full well that her father and the rest of the pack don't believe she has what it takes, after all she's only a female...oh yeah...she's one hell of a female.
Out of desperation Lyra's father asks Jaden to train Lyra for the big show down and OMG did that set the wheels in motion.
Someone's out to get Jaden, there's betrayal in the pack, and once Jaden and Lyra get a taste of each other....all bets are off.
Full of action, turmoil, passion and sex...
One hell of a read...
Don't keep us waiting for the next installment...a whole year between stories is way to long.
