A recent book on a rarely written about yet significant topic, which seems often inaccurately summarized. The author does his best to plunge through a great deal of events and reveal all the sordid arguing, greed, madness, and sleezy behavior as the great European politicians bickered about the post-Napoleon world and set the stage for much of the events of the next hundred years culminating in World War I.

Interesting to compare this to Paris 1919, about the next great peace conference a century later.
