it was amazing
bookshelves: classics, plays
Read in March, 1996

I found A Midsummer Night's Dream to be the most accessible and likeable of all of Shakespeare's comedies. The cast of characters is diverse and fascinating, from lovers to fairies to simple players. The play within a play is one of the funniest bits I've ever seen, and overall, it's just a great read.
