Clear, concise, and well-researched. As a long time vegetarian (mostly "carbotarian"), I was not the healthiest of eaters. When I decided to switch to a vegan diet awhile ago, I wanted to do so healthfully and make nutritionally sound choices. Norris and Messina's book is approachable, practical, and easy to follow. They don't mind a bit of olive oil in the diet (which drives me bonkers since I am trying to follow more of a Fuhrman/Barnard/Esselstyn approach), but I'm glad that they cleared up the big issues for some--calcium, protein, and B-12. A good resource for vegetarians, vegans, and the veg-curious.
