it was ok
bookshelves: mystery-cozy
Read from August 10 to 13, 2011

I really liked this series when I first few books. However, I think I'm getting fed up with cozy mysteries to some degree. I really am getting fed up with every day, ordinary people, sticking their nose in places it has no business being - in this case, a mystery book store owner trying to solve a murder of a friend and fellow business owner.

She does the stupidest things - confronting people she thinks may be the murderer on her own. Couple that with her going around and asking questions of people she hardly knows, just because she needs to know what happened. I have no patience for this foolhardy behavior any more. I'm tired of nosy people, with no investigative training, thinking that they know better than the professionals and trying to solve murders on their own. If this is the current trend of the mystery genre, I may have to take up something else.
