After seeing Midnight in Paris and dealing with all things Paris in the 1920s in the book world, I wanted to read the new restored version of this. I know I read parts of it for school, but never the entire thing - esp. restored. I really enjoyed reading about all the authors like Ezra Pound and Gertrude Stein from Hemingway's point of view. I thought his view of his wife, Hadley, made her appear stronger than in The Paris Wife - interesting. I would encourage everyone interested in that time period to read it. Must have been great knowing all of those authors and artists.
