Read from July 18 to 30, 2011

My first Mankell novel. The mystery moves at a snails pace; I guess it moves at Kurt Wallenders pace which is slow and methodical. So many mysteries about a family and just enough clues to keep you on edge from chapter to chapter. Wallender is meticulous, questioning and determined; a great combination for a detective. His questions about his life and health and family add dimension to this complicated character who can solve a mystery and can read people and clues with a suspicious nature.Sweden sound like a place to avoid during the winter, spring doesn't sound to bad, however I'll be travel during the Summer based on what I read. Will try another Walllender novel soon.
