I love this series. It is actually a hoot to read. I think I snickered at least a hand full of times on this read.

We continue off shortly after book one where Jessica and Lucius are married and beginning their reign, but soon betrayal rains on their parade. Not only does Jessica have to watch vampires staked, or leaves the meeting, but she also not only has family plotting against her, a husband soon imprisoned and a declining diet.
What I love about this series is Jessica. Sure she got more than she bargained for in becoming a vampire and marrying Lucius, thus becoming a princess, but when the tough stuff happens, she moans and whines and then gets a spine. I love how in this book Jessica grows a spine and takes hold of her life, and saves many others. Fantaskey has created this great cast of characters and made them shine in Jessica Rules the dark side. We see a whole host of growing dark sides in this book but we also see their redeeming qualities. Beth, you totally rocked my reads tonight! I cannot wait to see if there is more for this series coming.
