Spare, compelling, sometimes poetic, sometimes random but it contributes to helping the reader feel what it's like to go through a disease process like the author's. Her deadpan comments are hilarious and dark. I wanted to read this because she has a rare form of a disease my niece had, Guillain Barre, and I wanted to understand her experience better. It helped, though Becca could have written her own book.
