Read from July 29 to August 08, 2011, read count: 1

I picked up the first few issues of Season Eight when they first came out, but quickly realized I hated buying single issue comics, because I was done with them in minutes and then I'd have to wait an entire week for the next paltry few pages. So I missed a few, and then a few more, and eventually I just decided to wait for the collection. Well, I missed the first ones when Dark Horse released them on Netgalley, but I pulled up this last book just to see what was going on. I certainly felt lost, because I wasn't quite sure about the motivations of the big bad, and some of the relationships left me cold, but it still felt like a Buffy episode. One day I'll go back and read the rest of the series, and I'm looking forward to Season Nine, but again I'll wait until the collection comes out.

I received this as a digital ARC from Netgalley.
