This book sounded really interesting, but it didn't live up to my expectations. I would have given it 1 star, except for the flashback sequences which I enjoyed. They are written very differently from the modern day parts. The main character, Hannah, is not likeable, and the author tried much too hard to make her appear "cool". The modern parts are too harsh, but the flashbacks are written better. It is however, hard to keep track of which character is which and where the Haggadah has travelled since it is a bit disjointed with all the hops back and forth in time. If you want to give it a shot - borrow it from the library; it's not worth the money to buy it.
