I really want to give this 5 stars, but I just can't. I don't know why. It's a really amazing--and damnded depreessing--story, but it just doesn't quite have that last kick. At least not for me.
But, I will say, that it has that Dave Eggers-feel without being so friggin' self-aware and annoying. If anything, this makes me want to read Flynn's poetry.
Check it out, it's totally worth it.
