it was amazing
bookshelves: history, presidents

Covering the last 11 years of TR's life, this final volume in Edmund Morris' biography is thorough and detailed without being boring. Several adventures of his last decade could be a book on their own. An African Safari, bolting to form the Bull Moose Party, exploring the River of Doubt, and prodding a reluctant country to enter WWI. Anyone interested in Theodore Roosevelt will enjoy reading this and the previous two volumes of this excellent biography.
