I am a HUGE fan of EC and got this for Christmas. After reading it, I would have to say that it is not up there with "The Autobiography of Ben Franklin". It gave a good glimpse of Eric and his life and times, but anyone outside this particular music world, it was largely useless and meaningless. Truthfully, there are better books about this era in history than the one Clapton writes and it really adds nothing to the world of literature. I gave it three stars because I like him and had to give him at least that many.
