I wish there was a way to give a book less than one star. This was hands down the most painful reading experience I have ever had. It seems that Candace Bushnell's definition of a feminist is a woman who is constantly snorting coke, a borderline prostitute, perpetually melodramatic, and self-involved beyond belief. None of the characters in this book were pleasant to read or relatable. The books pushes the idea that a woman is never satisfied unless involved with a man, and only as important as the clothes she wears, her dress size, and what people think of her. Twilight does more for women's rights than this. If this review seems harsh you don't have to take my word for it, borrow the book from your library, I promise within the first 50 pages you'll want to scream.
