bookshelves: borrowed, not-too-impressed-with, recommended-to-me
Read in January, 2009

Honestly, I read this book about a year ago so a few moments are a little cloudy in my memory. This is the first and only book I've read from the author. Not because I don't like him but I borrowed it from a friend who recommended it to me. I liked the story of the dogs in the book. And the main character. But all together I wasn't very impressed. I have heard from others that this wasn't his best book and he is generally a really great author so wouldn't hold it against him. I was just a little disappointed because I thought this book would be really good. I plan to read more by Koontz in the future. Hopfully it will be more up to par of my expectations from him. I would recommend this book to animal lovers though. I've always had a soft spot for golden retrievers and this really hit it!
