I really enjoyed this book... until the end. Up till then it was captivating. I loved the new take on a very familiar old fairy tale from my childhood. I bought the book before I knew that it is based on the movie to be released intead of the other way around, as it is usually done. I just saw the movie trailer and saw it was a book and I prefer to read the story before I watch it. The characters are great in this story! I never knew whether to take Henry or Peter's side, and I was always speculating who the wolf could be. But like I said before, the end honestly made me really angry. As a warning to anyone buying the book but checking reviews first: break the rules and look at the last page first before you buy. I promise it won't give anything away. I could rant about it forever being both a book worm and movie buff but its not like it will change anything...

~☆ Alice♥♥ I haven't read the book the the movie is FANTASTIC. Charlie Swan is great as her father.

~☆ Alice♥♥ why were you angry?

Tiff Billy Burke is a favorite actor of mine. He was really good in Ladder 49. The end made me angry because there was no end. It literally had no last chapter. It worked for the movie because no one going in knew how it ended, but it was annoying to buy a book with no end. To read the last chapter it gave the reader a link but it couldn't be read until after opening day in theaters.

~☆ Alice♥♥ Oh, that would make me mad too. That was just to get you into the theater, right? I bet there will be a second one then. That seems to be the plan these days. That one should go on the Listopia for I liked the movie better than it book it sounds like. Thanks for explaining. I won't get the book.
