I would have finished this book sooner, but it was a BUSY week and I couldn't read as much as I wanted (which for some reason always bugs me!)

"Fairest" is set in the same "land" as "Ella, Enchanted". The main character is "Aza", a young girl who works in her parent's Inn (she was found as a baby on their doorstep and raised as one of their own)where she is treated badly by most of the guests because of her looks (plus Aza also feels she is really ugly and tries to stay out of the way). She is larger than most as well and people (especially those who don't take the time to get to know her) are repulsed by her.

By chance or fate, she ends up getting to go to the Castle to see the royal wedding as a companion to a Duchess (who frequents the Inn). While at the Castle, Aza's life changes completely, and not always in the way she wants or expected.
