Fun and funny novel about best friends and cousins who are separated as one goes off to London for her "season" and the other stays home. It's an Austen-esque setting (Regency time period, girls and their marriage prospects) but with an overlay of magic and mystery. The story is told in letters to and from so you get a good sense of the two girls. Amusing enough that I stayed up late to finish it and that I'll look up the sequel.
