I thought it was very good. The chapters had clever titles... a little long but still good. I learned a lot from reading this book about life in the Middle East. Some parts I found appaling like how people would just kill themselves if they were fed up with the government and the treatment of women there! Gential mutilation?? I'm glad I live in the US where that doesn't happen but I feel bad for women over there who have had this done to them. I liked how a chapter was about modern music in Muslim countries and that socail networking like texting and Facebook is popular. I didn't like how the government banned soical networking in some countries. I liked the chapter about Muslim comiedians as well. Their jokes were funny. Now when I hear news from the Middle East, I'll regonize some names because they were mentioned in this book. I especially liked the title, Rock the Casbah. I know it's a song by the British band the Clash in like 1982 when I was young. I watched the video to Rock the Casbah on YouTube. I guess this Middle East mess had been going on in the 1980s as well. Amazingly, nearly 30 years later, we still can't agree........
