Really impressed with the character. Charlie has some issues. He is an incredibly sensitive high school freshman with an older sister and brother. His story is revealed by way of letters he is writing to a 'friend'. It's a suicide that that starts the journey, and all is seen through through Charlies eyes. He is navigating a tenuous existence as a high school freshman. I'm amazed at how many 'typical' high school dramas are covered so well here. It's a book that will make you laugh and cry, and remember....
