it was ok
bookshelves: fiction-contemporary

The second in the Eliot trilogy. I admit I skim read much of this book. Sometimes Elizabeth Goudge gets lost in her descriptions which makes the stories drag somewhat. I enjoyed getting immersed in the world of the Eliots and the character studies were very insightful but ultimately it was a bit meh.
