It appears no library in Maine is as daring as your local library! I just did a search for it and got nothing.
That's a bummer! We are very very lucky to have the most amazing public library system in my city. The carnegie library system started here!

recommended for: perves and master baiters.
Lost Girls was added to my local public library's catalogue recently - the acquisition date stamped on the inside cover indicates that the book is only three months old. I have been on the wait list for it since then!
alan moore (v for vendetta) & melinda gebbie set themselves to the task of telling the tales of the fairytale (literally) girlhoods and sexual awakenings of wendy (from peter pan), alice (from wonderland and through the looking glass) and dorothy (from kansas/oz) in a lush graphic novel format. make no mistake, the three hefty graphic volumes of hardcore watercolor porno are nothing like what walt disney did to these characters. set in a luxury hotel in 1914 Vienna, and there are a few sparse gestures towards the historical context.
the wide varieties of sex, positions, acts, couplings, triplings, incests, and orgies can get a little tiresome after THREE VOLUMES, i admit. i forgive Moore & Gebbie, though, since their enthusiasm and ambition is truly impres...more
