This book would like you to know that it's set in 1996. It's like, AOL PAPASAN CHAIR ROLLERBLADING DIALUP SCRUNCHIE DISCMAN WINDOWS 95 HEY MACARENA!

cute idea--some kids log on to the internet in 1996 and find themselves on Facebook in 2011. Sadly, the writing is terrible, in that too-many-of the-wrong-details, creative writing 101 way, and the characters have no personality.

Kaye I started a book like that recently, and I just couldn't stand it. However, it did remind me of the failed alcoholic drink Zima, which tasted like boozy alka-seltzer.
