Not bad considering that really, this one is pure fanfiction. Reynolds asks what-if questions and then answers them with novels. In this one, What if Elizabeth's father died before she had a chance to make up with Darcy? Jane marries an elderly shopkeeper, Elizabeth becomes a governess for her uncle's children and then nursemaid when Jane enters confinement with her first child...meanwhile, Darcy, determined to find himself a suitable wife, finds he can't stay away from Lizzy Bennet, even though to marry her now would be the ruin of them both...

A good midsummer night's read (yes, pun intended).

Anna (Yoda Is My Spirit Animal) Jane really got the short end of the stick in this, but at least her husband was kind to them. Also, I liked that it managed to stay FAIRLY realistic. It was a pretty fun book, glad you liked it! :)
