I am a big fan of Youka Nitta's Haru wo Daiteta and so will try and get hold of anything by her that has been translated into English.

The first impressions of this manga are incredible, 801 Media have done an amazing job with the dust jacket fold in parts replicating the colour plates of the book. However, I never really felt that much of a connection with Yoshinaga and Shiraishi (although my interest was piqued by the hint of a tragic past for Yoshinaga) but then I'm not really interested in political intrigue so that may have influenced me.

That said, if there are more volumes in the future, I will get them because I want to see what will happen to Yoshinaga and Shiraishi's relationship and Youka Nitta's artwork is stunning ^_~!
