Al Capone Shines My Shoes is written by Gennifer Choldenko and is the sequel to Al Capone Does My Shirts. In this novel, Moose owes Al Capone a favor, after finding a note in the laundry from him. The two have been secretly communicating, and after Al Capone getting Moose’s sister, Natalie, who has autism, into a special school for kids like her (Esther P. Marinoff), its Mooses turn to do something for him. Living on Alcatraz in 1935, with the help of his friends, they try to help Moose know what the gangster wants and how to do it. Full of suspense, this is a book you will enjoy.
