Read in June, 2011

A dystopian world that is very violent, very dark. The story kept me interested but I was uncomfortable with the child abuse. Yet even so, I had a hard time liking the main character. He did step up and do right most of the time, but it was always an almost thing. This is a YA book more suited to older, very stable teens.
