A very interesting narrative look at the lives of Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, Bathsheba and Mary, some of the most well-known (and a couple of the most notorious) women of the Bible. Rivers has done a great job reading into the context of daily life and customs of these historical times to weave a narrative that holds true to the awesome messages of the Bible but also makes these five women more human and more relatable to women of the 21st century. A good read for anyone who wants to feel a deeper connection to these ladies!
