I definitely wasn't sure what to expect when i purchased this book on my Nook Color, I did however feel like Nikki Sixx was going to take me on a rollercoaster ride of his life spanning about a year or so. There were times that i felt like i couldn't finish it because for some odd reason i felt like what Nikki was going through had started to affect me without having to actually take some of the drugs like Heroin & Cocaine and what not. Thankfully i took a little break, decided to trudge through it, knowing that sooner or later that the brightness and positivity would show its head and it was a long time coming but i guess that in order to see the light u sometimes have to wallow in the darkness and truly hit rock bottom in order to realize how much u want to live and how much u live for. I for 1 am WICKED glad that he decided to turn his life around and start living for his 4 childeren. I don't know what it would be like to be in Gunner, or Storm or even Frankie-Jean's (?) shoes without my father around. So with all that said...if your fan of Nikki Sixx like i am, then i would recommend that you buy/borrow this book and get to know what it was like to be Nikki many years ago.
