It all starts when Lara goes to here great-aunts funeral, there a ghost named Sadie starts talking to her and persuades her to help in her quest to search for her necklace. That was the essential motive until her great aunt Sadie deciededs shes runnign the show. I loved the book I truly felt the emotion that each character was feeling and didn't know what to expect. Lara must not only find the necklace but deal with a crazy self absobed ghost bothering her. Lara isn't in the best place in her life- shes obsessed with getting her boyfriend back, stressed about her job and is hiding everything from her parents. Along the way Sadie and Lara learn from each other. Lara learns to relax, move on and be more opened to different things as well as learning the truth about her bbf Natalia and about her family history whihc is essentially Sadies past. Sdaie learns that she can't get everything she wants and learns that it doesn't hurt to be giving to another person.
Sophia Kinsella to me oesn't dissapoint and I think this is one of my favorites be her because some books you can guess whats going to happen this one, I honestly thought there would be a different ending but then again it's good to be surprised. She kept her light funny and misschevious writing alive through her new delightful characters.
Any body who likes sophia kinsella should give this a definite read. I personally loved it!
