it was amazing

Japan, India, Pakistan, England, USA, Canada. If you're looking for an epic book that spans 3 generations and several major contemporary issues, you would be hard pressed to do better.

Character development is excellent, however there is the tendency to orphan / underdevelop throughout the story. However continuity is rather good, and many of the characters are memorable.

Overall, a decent book to read.
