it was amazing

This book is pretty much porn for conservatives. I generally don't go for espionage/spy/special forces sorts of stories, but having read Mr. Flynn's first book Term Limits last summer (and loving it utterly) I figured I'd give this one a whirl. Although it's listed as number 11 in the Mitch Rapp series, it's really a prequel, so I thought I'd begin here.

American Assassin is a fun, fast-paced, exciting, plot driven story about terrorism in the Middle East, and the United States responding with elite killers to kill those who kill our people because our people killed them, with--obviously-- the Russian killing people, the Syrians killing people, the Iranians killing people, the Palestinians killing people, and the Swiss just getting killed (even though it was a Libyan who just lived in Switzerland. Oh, and a Turkish guy got killed, too). A lot of killing, in other words. Some finger nails were pulled out. A poodle was menaced. A Nordic goddess seduced. A groin was grabbed.

A perfect summer read. I first heard of this author from Glenn Beck. He's never steered me wrong, book wise.
