I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn more about Iran. Ms. Moaveni's perspective as an American born to Iranian parents was unique. I really appreciated learning about secular Iranians and how difficult life in Iran can be with all of the restrictions placed on women in terms of dress and conduct. It seems like there should be great opportunity to improve relations between the US and Iran if Ms. Moaveni is correct -- that many Iranians are very interested in and feel favorably toward the US.
