The thing is, I could probably rate this a 3, but I'm trying to be a bit more honest about my ratings, and if I base my 2 stars off of Goodreads then it's definitely applicable. Because, to me, this book was okay. I finished reading it because I wanted to find out the ending, and I didn't have any other books pressing at the time, but I probably also could have left it and not really cared if I read the whole thing or not.

I love the idea of this book, and parts of it were cool. I liked the band aspect, and the whole theme (explained in the title) of the book. But for some reason that I can't fully articulate I just didn't click with it. I was pretty bored through most of it, and didn't really grow to care that much about the characters. I think this is a book that most people will like more than I did, but it's also not one that people will freak out over.
