As always her writing was compelling; I always devour her books in three days or less, I'm just so eager to see what happens to these characters! I was impressed with the way she was able to take both sides of the dilemma, although the Pastor and southern lawyer were major stereotypes, but Max seemed to be more genuine and pure in his faith. The ending was just a little too sweet and perfect for my taste, but I guess we all need some fantasy every now and then. It's fiction, it doesn't have to be entirely plausible.

Nineteen Minutes is still my favorite, but this was alright as well.
