A cute story. Enjoyable and quick if not really implausible. However, Hoffman is actually a lovely writer, and she portrayed the struggles of CeeCee, the main character, very well. She also beautifully captured the view of the world seen through a somewhat troubled twelve year old girl. A good and fluffy summer read, but definitely not a book that will change your life.
