it was amazing

Warm, comforting novel as most of Binchy's stories are. Even though I think the romances she writes about are somewhat formulaic (I can usually pick out who the "bad boys" are and predict the end of the sordid romances)--The people in her stories are just so interesting, and they way she weaves them together is very warm. It's like listening to stories from an old friend. I'm never disappointed with her stories and I always feel better about the world having read one of them; I think of Binchy as the Irish Rosamunde Pilcher, and this novel is no exception.
