Interesting if you like speculative fiction, cultural criticism, and literature, which would make you a nerd, though a little stodgy and academic. I liked the later chapters better than the earlier. It reminded me why I hate writers like Heinlen and love those like Vonnegut. It's a question of militarism, nationalism and jingoism v. critical thinking.
