Let me start by saying I think the writing was lovely. The author has a ncieway with words and I chuckled on several occasions.

As a love story, it was a bit predictable but had a lot of those tense OH GOD JUST KISS AND GET IT OVER WITH ALREADY moments.

I love the idea of time travel and going back to the 20's. It's a fun era.

I think this is one of those indie titles that could have benefited from an agent/editor who suggested to the author to cut parts and rearrange things. For the first half the of the book, the only mention of the paranormal is that the Professor teaches Occult studies. The story got so far before bringing in a vamp element that I honestly thought it was mislabeled as paranormal. I think some of the elements, like a dead body drained of blood, etc could have been brought forth much earlier in the story to get that paranormal aspect rolling.

Overall , not a bad story, but it could have been better.
