The follow up to Inkheart was a very enjoyable read. Unlike the first book, this story takes place in the ink world. Most of our favorite characters find their way and quickly become part of the ink story.

In the book Dustfinger finds his way back to his family, with his young protege Farid following close behind. When Meggie finds Fenoglio, he tries to regain control of his story, by writing new directions for characters, however things are not happening according to his word. The story is taking on a life of its own and Fenoglio is losing control.

When Mo and Resa are forced into the story, they are not only in search of Meggie, but Mo is finding himself, unexpectedly placed as a key figure in the story (as created by Finoglio)

The story moves at a good pace and characters are very enjoyable. This is my second read of this book and I enjoyed it more the second time around. With the way the book is left with so much to still happen. I am very excited about reading Inkdeath!
